First mandate of 6187 is to contribute towards local building, design, craft, and material education. 

The learning is not exclusive to the building of Alma, though it makes sense to begin with it. The programming piloted here aims to kickstart a breed of public/private learning/access that puts high value market productions back into the public domain of craft knowledge accumulation. 

Events are by design not talks, which are increasingly trite monologues or branding exercises. Instead, we try to realize formats where a third year architecture student, a junior design associate, a boutique builder, an idealistic city planner, a prospective architecture owner, or a stone mason would find both pertinent and provocative.
